What is ADSL::

ADSL stands for Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line. It is a technology that allows
copper telephone pairs to be used to provide a high speed broadband connection.
It provides ‘always-on’ Internet connection that is automatically established once
the PC and ADSL modem are switched on. ADSL broadband is asymmetric because data
arriving at your computer arrives faster than data leaving your computer, which
is why ADSL packages always quote higher download speeds compared to upload speeds.
